JK Lakshmi Cement Launches ‘The Unstoppables Awards’ to Recognise Women Changemakers Across India

JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd. has launched The Unstoppables Awards, a national recognition platform aimed at highlighting individuals whose work has contributed to social and environmental progress across India.

The initiative covers three broad areas — Environment Champions, Builders of Public Infrastructure and Women Empowerment. Within the Women Empowerment category, the awards will recognise contributions across Women Entrepreneurs & Innovators, Social Transformation, and Women in Education, Health & Skills.

The initiative has been introduced around JK Lakshmi Cement’s philosophy of “Soch Karo Buland”, with the company positioning the awards as a platform to bring greater visibility to people whose work has created measurable social impact.

The jury includes water conservationist Rajendra Singh, former Delhi High Court judge Poonam Bamba, social entrepreneur Divyanshu Upadhyay, environmentalist Swami Prem Parivartan, IAS officer Supriya Sahu, IPS officer Chhaya Sharma, JK Lakshmi Cement Chairperson and Managing Director Vinita Singhania, President and Director Dr. Arun Shukla, Atashi Singhania and The Better India CEO Narayanan Radhakrishnan.

The company says the nomination and evaluation process has been structured to promote credibility, inclusiveness and transparency in selecting the awardees.

JK Lakshmi Cement‘s Chairperson and Managing Director Vinita Singhania is leading the company behind the initiative.
