NBK sponsors KRCS Program On Women Empowerment
National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) supports Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) program on women empowerment, which includes a basics sewing training organized in cooperation with Sadu House.
Joanne Al Abdul Jaleel, NBK senior PR Officer said, “We are proud to support this program, as we aspire to improve more developmental outcomes in terms of empowering women and improving their representation and development in the society.”
“This workshop is part of our corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, which seeks to support initiatives that make a profound impact on the lives of communities around Kuwait. We thank the Kuwait Red Crescent Society for their noble efforts, and the continued aide they provide to people in need,” she stressed.
Al Abdul Jaleel praised the objectives of the program that focus on developing skills and provide women with job opportunities. She expressed her appreciation to the Sadu House for organizing and marketing the products after the conclusion of the workshop.
Al Abdul Jaleel noted that such initiatives for women’s empowerment is at the forefront of NBK’s strategic priorities for sustainable development.
